In this workshop, Hannah Brodersen will familiarize participants with the Knowledge Security Management Plan and together we will explore its connection to research data management. 

After the workshop, participants

• understand the concept of knowledge security
• understand its impact on research data management
• can identify those parts of a DMP in which knowledge security plays a role
• can relate the questions of a Knowledge Security Management Plan to a researcher’s DMP and identify those questions that are not relevant for the DMP

Dr. Hannah Brodersen is part of a swissuniversities-funded project that aims to analyse the balance between Open Science and Knowledge Security. As part of their project, the team creates a report with a tool box that includes, among other things, a Knowledge Security Management Plan.
