Data Management Plans (DMPs) for Language Data

-

The newly established Language Research Data Management Node (L-RDM Node) of the Swiss Research Data Support Network (SRDSN), in collaboration with the CLARIN-CH Research Data Management Working Group and the LaDaD (Language Data across Disciplines) project, is organizing a two-part online workshop dedicated to Data Management Plans (DMPs) for language data.

The workshop aims to provide both a strategic understanding of DMP requirements and practical tools for drafting high-quality DMPs tailored to language research.

Target audience: Researchers and data stewards working with language data.

Part I – Why DMPs Matter from the Start

An introduction to DMPs in the context of SNSF-funded projects, with a focus on early-stage planning.
Includes a keynote by Sylvia Jeney (SNSF) on DMPs and Open Research Data (ORD), SNSF policies, and how the CHF 10,000 DMP allowance can be used.

Part II – How to Prepare a Good DMP

29 June, 1:00–2:30 PM (online)
